This term year 6 have been working on their Location, Location, Location topic.

The writing below was completed by Joe from class 6EH.

Have you been waiting for the perfect Castle? Well your wait is over. With Castel de Monte, situated in Italy, your mind will be blown by everything from the luxurious landscapes to the loyal servants! Castel de Monte is open for buyers, buyers like YOU!

Taking a look at the outside of this Castle, you will not fail to be amazed by the exquisite architecture that was put into making this spectacular property. Ever hated not being able to just simply walk down the road and find a food shop? NO MORE! Castle de Monte is near a range of food stores from giant supermarkets to local small ones. Wandering round the back, you will notice a forest of lush evergreen trees that have been growing more than 300 years, surrounding a quiet, pond full of life. Silhouettes of statues stand tall on the hexagon pillars, keeping off any vile rodents who would like to inhabit your magnificent castle. Intricate windows stained with portraits of some of the famous owners of this castle are a reminder of how old this castle is: Julius Caesar’s head is on one window, signifying that it is over 1900 years old!

On entry to this magnificent work of art, you will notice a never ending corridor to your left and right filled with the paintings of every owner ever; maybe your painting might be their next! Walking straight on, you will come to a courtyard filled with lush, green grass and a holy tree, said to bring good luck to all who own the castle. Further on, you will come across a dark, oaken door leading to the great hall. Arches designed thousands of years ago hang (perfectly safely) on the ceiling adding to the pure beauty of this room. Inside the kitchen you will be surprised to see a modern add on in 2013 - a beautiful chandelier hanging from the ceiling.

Buying this property will make you the envy of all your friends. Some Estate Agents may try to sell you a quiet three bedroom house in a cul-de-sac: Not With This! It will never fail to impress friends or family. Come down to Abotts and Wood Estate Agency to find out even more!
