Abbotswood children contributed to the cross of poppies that were put together by Mrs Waters and laid at the Totton War Memorial today. Each class contributed a poppy that they decorated and a 2 minute silence was observed in class this morning. 

Whilst current restrictions have changed the way we mark Armistice day in 2020, we felt it was still very important to do something. 

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old: 

Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.

At the going down of the sun and in the morning

We will remember them.
